Welcome to Gifs at DW, a gif-sharing community.
Inspired by the many icon communities on DW, this community aims to help people display their works on DW (maybe originally made for tumblr or twitter).
We accept individual gifs and gifsets. From the very simple to the most elaborate.
Posting Guidelines
- Gifs and gifsets should be shared behind a cut. If your gif is bigger than 500px wide, code it to display no bigger than 500px wide
- Add descriptions to your images. Even a simple description is better than nothing
- Tag your posts
- Post your own gifs only. No fannish labor theft here.
- Warn for flashing gifs
- Warn for NSFW content
- Warn for slurs in gifs
What's allowed:
- Gifs and gifsets you've made
- NSFW gifs are allowed
- All fandoms except for those in the NO list
What's not allowed:
- Gifs and gifset from any Harry Potter or JKR property
- Hate speech of any kind
- Racism (i.e. whitewashing of characters of color)
- Gifs of real life gore (i.e. animal harm or snuff videos)
